Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Ovoz, the company that operates the dunno mobile app. They are short on purpose. The most important line in them: dunno is not a shop. It compares prices; the buying happens somewhere else.

Agreeing to these terms

By installing or using dunno you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

dunno is operated by Ovoz, Bulevardi 7, Helsinki, Finland (https://ovoz.fi/en). Contact: support@dunno.uz. Below, we and us mean Ovoz.

What dunno is, and what it is not

dunno is an independent price-comparison and information service. It shows what the same product costs at different stores in Uzbekistan, together with price history, category browsing, recommendations, saved products and an AI assistant.

dunno is not a shop. We do not sell anything, take payment, hold stock, ship orders, or handle returns, warranties or complaints about a purchase.

When you decide to buy, you leave dunno and buy from the retailer, on the retailer's own site, at the retailer's price and under the retailer's terms. That contract is between you and them, not with us.

Who can use dunno, and how

You must be old enough to use dunno under the law where you live — at least 13 — and able to agree to these terms.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own, non-commercial purposes. It lasts as long as you keep to these terms.

The licence gives you no other rights over dunno, our software, or our content.

We are not affiliated with the stores

dunno is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or partnered with Uzum Market, Mediapark, OpenShop, Idea, Asaxiy, Texnomart, Olcha or Yandex Market.

Their names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. We use a store's name only to identify where a price came from.

Prices and product information

Prices, availability and specifications shown in dunno are collected from publicly available listings on the stores' own pages.

They can be out of date, or simply wrong, at the moment you read them: stores change prices, run out of stock, and edit their listings without telling us.

The retailer's own page is always the authoritative source. We do not guarantee that a price shown in dunno will be honoured, and we are not responsible if it is not. Check the price on the store's page before you buy.

Free to use, and accounts

dunno is free. There is no paywall and no subscription. Browsing, searching, comparing prices and looking at price history need no account.

An account — Google or Apple sign-in — is needed only for the AI assistant and for saving products. Keeping access to your sign-in secure is your responsibility. You can delete the account at any time under Settings.

The AI assistant

The assistant is a language model. It can be wrong, out of date, or confidently mistaken — including about prices, specifications and availability.

Its answers are informational only. They are not professional, financial, legal or medical advice and are not a substitute for your own judgement about a purchase. Verify anything that matters on the retailer's page.

Use of the assistant is subject to usage limits so that it stays available to everyone. Do not put other people's personal data, or anything confidential, into a conversation.

Advertising

dunno may show banner advertising, and those banners may be paid, promoted or affiliate placements.

Price offers and comparison results are never paid for, never promoted, and never reordered for money. No store can pay us for a better position in a comparison.

How you may not use dunno

Do not scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-copy dunno's content or data, and do not use bots, scripts or other automated means against the app or the systems behind it.

Do not reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise try to extract our source code, keys or the workings of our systems, except where the law expressly allows it.

Do not try to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to our systems, and do not use dunno to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or resell our data.

Our content and yours

The dunno app, its name, its design, its software and the compilation of data it presents belong to us or to our licensors. These terms transfer none of that to you.

What you write or attach in an AI conversation stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your input, process it, pass it to the assistant so it can answer, and keep the conversation available to you.

Do not send us content you have no right to send.

Suspension and ending the agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account and removing the app.

We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or use dunno in a way that harms the service or other users. We may also stop offering dunno, or any part of it.

No warranty

dunno is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information in it is complete, accurate or current.

To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed by agreement.

Limits on our liability

dunno is a free information service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost savings, or for a purchase you made — or did not make — on the basis of a price shown in the app.

This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Finland, where Ovoz is based.

Disputes go to the Finnish courts, unless mandatory law where you live gives you the right to bring the case elsewhere — in which case that right stands.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as dunno changes. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.

If you keep using the app after a change, that is your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept them, delete the app.
